Friday's DraftKings NBA slate tips off at 7:00 p.m. EST and includes 11 games. The most significant news is the injury to Christian Wood. He's out tonight and DeMarcus Cousins is in line to start against Detroit. Cousins is likely to be massive chalk, but keep in mind he's only played over 20 minutes once this season. That's not enough to scare me away, but there's a path to failure if you prefer someone like Daniel Gafford who - for $1,300 less - will be starting in place of the injured Wendell Carter against Charlotte. The value at center could result in people choosing a stars-and-scrubs style build but on a massive 11-game slate, there are also plenty of mid-range options to fit a balanced setup.
