FanDuel Sportsbook: Week 6 NFL Wagers

Sports wagering can be the most humbling thing in the world. I have missed 14 straight parlays by 1 over the last two weeks, only to get hit with a 2-7 record last week. Just an awful week that has me reassessing again. Moral of the story play my bets as single bets and you will be up 5000+.

Game Picks

Raiders vs. Broncos

This line has moved up in favored of the Broncos (opened -2.5, now -4.0, but was -4.5) with the Jon Gruden resignation and the Raiders organization dealing with all of the distractions. The Raiders laid an egg at home against the Bears last week and could be in a major tailspin. I am going to get more aggressive on certain sides and totals, and more conservative on player props.

BET: Denver -4.0 (-106) for 3 RWBucks

Vikings vs. Panthers

This line has moved considerably in favor of the Vikings (+1 to -2.5) but the percent of handle and bets is running close to 50/50. I like the Vikings, mainly because of all the issues with Carolina. Without Christian McCaffrey the Panthers struggle to move the ball. Their offensive line has also become a major issue. There was concern about Justin Jefferson and Adam Thielen's health but both practiced on Friday.

The Panthers gave away the game against the Eagles last week and now face a much better Vikings squad, which will look to get back to .500 at 3-3.

BET: Vikings -2.5 (-115) for 2 RWBucks

Football Team vs. Chiefs

The Chiefs record vs. the spread is 2-13-1 in their last 16 games. Their defense is on pace to be the worst in NFL history. I have to take WFT getting a touchdown, especially when I see 90 percent of the public is on the Chiefs.

BET: WFT +7 (-114) for 1.5 RWBuck

Seahawks vs. Steelers

Seattle has given up the second-most passing yards per game and is without Russell Wilson. The Steelers got back on track last week with a solid win at home against the Broncos. I like getting the Steelers at home for a second week in a row against a team starting their backup quarterback in Geno Smith.

BET: Steelers -4.5 (-110) for 1 RWBuck

Ravens vs. Chargers

I was on the wrong side of the total in last week's Chargers game with the Browns. I will come back and follow what they did last week and go with the over. The total has gone over six of the last seven Ravens home games.

BET: Over 51.5 (-105) for 1 RWBuck

Cardinals vs. Browns

Kyler Murray is dealing with a shoulder injury and has been limited in practice. His performance fell off considerably last year when he played through an injury, and the Browns are in a great spot at home.

BET: Browns -3.5 (-106) for 1 RWBuck

Player Props

BET: Austin Ekeler over 101.5 rushing + receiving yards (-114) for 1 RWBuck

Ekeler has hit this over four weeks in a row and gets a juicy matchup against the Ravens that should see a ton of points, as I like the over in the game.

BET: Javonte Williams over 52.5 rushing yards (-113) for 1 RW buck

With Melvin Gordon limited in practice on Wednesday and Thursday, I expect Williams to get the majority of the carries for the Broncos against the Raiders. With the Broncos having some injuries in their receiving corp and and Raiders struggling to defend the run, I like Williams to go over his prop of 52.5 rushing yards.
