NBA Player Props – Celtics vs. Heat, May 27, 2023

Tonight, the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat will play Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals at the Kaseya Center. The Heat took a commanding 3-0 lead in this series against the Celtics, but they now find themselves on the verge of a winner-take-all Game 7 on the road if they fail to take care of business on Saturday evening.

Ahead of tip-off, the Heat are listed as 3-point underdogs on the spread. The total is set at over/under 210 points.

NBA Player Props – Celtics vs. Heat, May 27, 2023

Jimmy Butler o28.5 points (-118), FanDuel

In the opening round of these playoffs, Jimmy Butler averaged 37.6 points per game against the Milwaukee Bucks. Since then, his scoring output has diminished, averaging 24.6 points per game against the New York Knicks in the second round and 24.2 points per game against the Boston Celtics so far in the Eastern Conference Finals. Still, he has scored 27 points or more in three separate games against Boston – with two extremely meager offensive nights weighing down his average. Returning home for Game 6 in a must-win spot for the Heat, expect Jimmy Butler to be extremely aggressive looking for his shot in this contest. Take the over.

Jaylen Brown o5.5 rebounds (-136), FanDuel

Here, we could lay out all of the reasons why we like Jaylen Brown to go over this market number or we could simply tell you that Brown has cashed the over at this market number every single time we have played this prop during these playoffs. My editor would probably be okay if I did both. During the regular season, Brown averaged 6.9 rebounds per game, without any discernable home-and-away splits. During the postseason, his activity on the glass has decreased somewhat, but he has still eclipsed this market number in five of his last eight contests, going back to the last round. Tonight, he will likely see 40 minutes of playing time in a competitive game script. Expect the defensive intensity from both teams to be high, which should lead to more missed shots than we have seen so far in this series. Trust Brown to get the job done here.

NBA DFS Pick’em

Bam Adebayo more than 30.0 points + rebounds + assists, PrizePicks

Simply, Bam Adebayo has seen his production rapidly fall off of the map as this series has progressed. In Game 1, he had 20 points, eight rebounds, and five assists. He had another outstanding performance in Game 2 – scoring 22 points while collecting 17 rebounds and dishing out nine assists. Since then, he has not scored more than 16 points or collected more than eight rebounds in any individual game. Adebayo is too talented to be kept quiet for much longer. Expect him to return to peak form tonight in the biggest game of the season for the Miami Heat.
