NFL Forecast
NFL weather for week 13, another busy week. Updated on Sunday, be sure to follow @KevinRothWx on Twitter for last minute updates.
ORANGE TBB @ JAC -
Breezy with a chance of showers, more interested in the wind here than the rain, and it looks like winds will be coming in at close to 20mph sustained with gusts around 30, that's enough to impact deeper throws and kicks.
YELLOW NYJ @ CIN -
Chance for showers late, but most of the game will be dry. Winds sustained between 15-20mph and stronger gusts.
ORANGE GBP @ NYG -
I'll get in to more detail here, but the simplest way to describe this is "ugly". We have a mixed bag of winter precip for East Rutherford: snow will fall before the game and could continue in to the beginning of the game, then it will transition to sleet and freezing rain, then finally just rain. Trying to figure out exactly when those transitions happen and what they mean probably isn't going to help us much, what matters here is that the game is going to be cold and wet (be it snow, sleet, or rain), and I expect the game script to lean a bit more on the run than the passing game.
GREEN WAS @ CAR -
Rain will likely be over with by kickoff (with a lower-end chance of a straggler shower or two early). Winds around 10-15mph sustained could have minor impact on the passing/kicking game.
YELLOW SFO @ BAL -
I think the worst of the rain is gone before the game, but still likely wet here, especially early.
ORANGE OAK @ KCC -
Cold and windy (and as always I'm more concerned with the latter). Winds will be worse before the game, but even in-game we will see sustained winds of 15-20mph with gusts over 30, especially early in the game. That wind will impact some throws, and the fact that the feels-like temp will be in the 20s doesn't exactly help the situation either. Bump down to passing and kicking, but (like Jax) it's not a must fade. If you picture what 100% perfect weather Mahomes will get you, you'll likely get 80-90% of that today, so if you feel that's still worth then fire up the passing game.,
