PHI/NYG Thursday Night Football Fontaine's 5 Props

1: Jalen Hurts — Over 200 Passing Yards

Why I like it: Hurts has been quietly more efficient against Cover 1, which the Giants runs at one of the league’s highest rates. He averages nearly 9 yards per attempt vs Cover 1, compared to ~7 YPA against other looks.

Game Script: Defense will likely bring pressure, forcing Hurts to throw instead of leaning exclusively on the run game.

Sharp Angle: Books shaded this line down due to Philly’s run-first perception, but 200 is a soft bar — his median projection is 230–240.

Play: Over 200 passing yards (core).

2: Cam Skattebo — Over 16.5 Receiving Yards (Ladder Spot)

Why I like it: Skattebo is heavily used in the screen game and on checkdowns when pressure heats up.

Matchup: Giants' linebackers allow high completion rates to RBs; perfect setup for dump-offs.

Usage: Averaging ~3 targets per game, with YAC ability that makes him live to clear this line on 1–2 catches.

Sharp Angle: Ladder works — 25+ and 40+ alt lines are in play.

Play: Over 16.5 receiving yards, ladder to 40+.

2: A.J. Brown — Over 64.5 Receiving Yards (Ladder Spot)

Why I like it: Brown’s usage remains elite (30% target share), and this opponent struggles against physical WR1s.

Matchup: Secondary is allowing the 3rd-highest yards per route run to perimeter WRs.

Script: Hurts efficiency vs Cover 1 benefits Brown directly, who is his go-to man on slants and deep posts.

Sharp Angle: 64.5 is underpriced — sharp models project him closer to 85.

Play: Over 64.5, ladder to 100+.

4: Jaxson Dart — Over 6.5 Rushing Attempts

Why I like it: Dart is not just a scrambler, he’s used in designed QB runs.

Usage: Averages ~8 rush attempts per game, with goal-line carries baked in.

Game Script: Facing pressure fronts, expect scramble volume plus 2–3 designed runs.

Sharp Angle: Attempts, not yards, is the sharp way to play Dart — his floor is built on usage, not efficiency.

Play: Over 6.5 rushing attempts.

5: Theo Johnson — Over 3.5 Receptions

Why I like it: With Darius Slayton out, the Giants’ passing tree shrinks. Theo Johnson (rookie TE) has been getting steady targets as a short-area option.

Matchup: Opponent allows one of the highest TE target shares in the league.

Script: Daniel Jones has few trusted weapons; Johnson is a natural safety valve.

Sharp Angle: This is a pure volume play — he should push 5–6 targets, enough to clear 4 receptions.

Play: Over 3.5 receptions.
