The Seahawks are rolling into this game with an impressive 3-0 record, but it's not without scrutiny. Their past wins have come against teams led by Bo Nix, Jacoby Brissett, and Skylar Thompson — not exactly the NFL’s top quarterbacks. Meanwhile, both teams boast strong defensive units, especially with the Lions' run defense and Seahawks' pass defense. Given the level of defense on both sides, it’s hard to pick a side. However, I’m leaning toward the UNDER on this one. Expect both defenses to step up, especially with injuries on both sides making this game harder to predict.
Best Bet: Under 47 at Caesars Sportsbook.
Seahawks vs. Lions Prediction – What to Expect
Frank Ragnow’s injury is the key storyline. Ragnow is one of the top offensive linemen, and his absence will put extra pressure on the Lions' offense. Seattle has its own injury issues, so it’s not all bad for Detroit. The difference for me is strength of schedule: The Seahawks’ wins came against a weak lineup of quarterbacks, while the Lions have had a tougher road, including healthy Rams, Bucs, and Cardinals squads.
If the Lions were 3-0, you’d be seeing this line at -4.5 or -5.0 easily. With that in mind, I’m giving the edge to Detroit to win in a 23-20 nail-biter.
