Parlay: Kings win at Nets + Domantas Sabonis 15+ points, 10+ rebounds, 4+ assists (+229) – FanDuel, 1:51 PM CT
Brooklyn is extremely shorthanded after trading James Harden, and Kyrie Irving can't play since it's a home game. While Seth Curry will be debuting, he won't be enough to turn the tides against a healthy and rejuvenated Kings team. This version of the Nets is weak everywhere defensively, but, specifically, I don't see them containing Sabonis to below 15/10/4. On the season, he's averaging 18.9 points, 12.1 rebounds and 5.1 assists. In his two games with Sacramento, he's averaged 19.0 points, 12.5 rebounds and 6.0 assists.
Sacramento Kings -2.0 (-110) at Brooklyn Nets – DraftKings Sportsbook, 2:00 PM CT
The Nets will get some much-needed help in the form of Seth Curry and Andre Drummondtonight, but given that none of Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant or Ben Simmons will be available, it feels like this line is a bit too small. The Nets have dropped 11 games in a row straight up, and Irving was active for eight of those losses. Swapping him out for Curry and Drummond is still a net loss – especially since it'll mark the Nets debut for both – and Brooklyn will once again be relying on average offensive players to carry a star-level workload. The Kings aren't exactly the '97 Bulls, but they've looked noticeably reinvigorated since the arrival of Domantas Sabonis, who's looked good in wins over Minnesota and Washington. The Nets should be able to hang around at home, but the Sabonis-De'Aaron Fox-Harrison Barnes trio is stable enough to send Brooklyn to its 12th straight defeat.
Toronto Raptors @ New Orleans Pelicans OVER 222.5 points – FanDuel Sportsbook 1:00 PM
The Raptors escaped with a 105-101 victory over the Pelicans during their first meeting this season in Toronto on Jan. 9. However, the Raptors were without Gary Trent due to an ankle injury during the contest, and the Pelicans have since added a dynamic scorer in CJ McCollum via trade ahead of the deadline. The Raptors have scored 100-plus points in 13 straight contests, including five games with at least 120. They've also allowed 100-plus points in 14 of their last 15 contests, including eight games giving up at least 110 points.
